Update: July 3, 2020
“Due to the existing situation with COVID-19 and the inability to guarantee the safety of judges and exhibitors, the BOD has decided to cancel the 2020 National Specialty. We had initially thought we may be able to reschedule it from the original date in May to October. Lisa Knock and her committee had put in a tremendous amount of work and Lisa asked us to make a final decision before additional work was to be done. So after much discussion, the Board decided it was in the best interest of the Club to cancel the National. Lisa will continue working to provide Regional and Supported entry events. I am sure she will keep us informed about the events she is able to organize. We thank all of the committee chairpeople who worked to put on the 2020 Specialty. It is unfortunate that we are not able to hold it this year. Please watch for the October 2020 Regional and Supported entry information.” ABMC President Elizabeth Aghbashian
Update: May 11, 2020
The ABMC 2020 National Specialty has been tentatively rescheduled for October 27-November 1, 2020 with all events being held outdoors at the Virginia State Fairgrounds in Doswell, VA, except for herding, which will be offered at a different site.
Please note that all plans and scheduling are tentative until we confirm what the State of Virgina requires at that time given the current health status in the country.

We’re looking forward to reuniting with friends and our Malinois “families” during a fabulous six days of events held in historic Virginia, the oldest of the thirteen original colonies. Your support – through attendance, entries, purchase of specialty items, trophy sponsorship, submission of catalog ads, and volunteering – all help to make our rescheduled 2020 National Speciality a success.
